One thing I want to improve is the blog search and listing functionality.

Currently testing Sphinx based search and this will probably result in a search portal added to the main site as we get a lot of surfers landing there.

You can disabled comments from the Settings -> Discussion section of Wordpress.

You can also disable comments on all posts.

Because that setting only applies to posts after the time at which you change the setting.

You can set it to logged in users only can comment also.

Is there any benefit to comments on an adult blog? I always delete the comments code and put in my own banner ad.

I mean, first of all it's going to be spam, and if some of them are real people, which sometimes I have blogs that have real engagement, they're not going to be coming back to read the replied comments or to re-comment because porn is all over the place and changes daily. Cum once and the surfer forgets almost everything he just watched or did online...

You can disable comments on your own blog by going to Settings -> Discussion

If you have lots of premade posts then you'll need to disable comments on them individually.

Akismet seems to be working fine. Can you point out precisely how it isn't ?

Anyone can disable comments themselves for their blogs. No reason to turn comments off globally, some people might want that functionality.

The platform is based on Wordpress, which most people are already familiar with. This means that you can use all of your favourite blogging tools with the site. We have added our own code that provides extra functionality and we have a roadmap of improvements that we will be making over time to further add value to the service.

We have some special features available in the dashboard of each blog.

Firstly there is Gallery Magic, which allows you to import csv sponsor galleries and have them automatically made into posts. These posts can be scheduled so that new galleries are automatically added to your blog every day.

Secondly Google Analytics is provided right from within your dashboard, letting you view real time statistics, search keywords, referrers and other useful information. All you have to do is add your Google Analytics Property ID into the Google Analytics settings for your blog.

Third, you can import your Blogger blogs from within the Dashboard. Just go to Tools > Import and then authorise the application to access your Blogger account. Import can take a while so please be patient, also note that due to differences between Blogger and Wordpress there may be some clean up required on your part once clean up is complete.

We're rolling out a tool this week which will enable us to delete spam comments as we strive to make PornBlogs.XXX as spam free as possible.

However users already have the functionality to turn comments off on their blogs and we suggest that users do this if they do not want any comments at all.

Some of the blogs on PornBlogs.XXX have very good comments, especially the Tumblr style blogs, so we see no reason to remove functionality that can, if used properly, boost a blogs performance in search.

Our new tool will constantly crawl all blogs and remove comments that have been made by IP addresses in our spam databases and other identifying factors such as gibberish comments - this will remove most spam from comments where users have elected to leave comments on for their blogs.

Hey can I use my own favorite Wordpress plugins? For example, I prefer to use the Statpress plugin rather that Google Analytics.

Also, can you elaborate more on what type of content you're looking for and will allow from a text perspective? For example, I would probably use a blog on your network to only display some CSV gallery files from my sponsors with little or no text commentary included. I'd prefer to use any free time I have to write original blog content for my own network of blogs where I know exactly what my traffic is. If I must now write up original text content for blogs on your site I'd like to see some kind of evidence that it would be worth my very limited time to do this (such as actual traffic figures on some of your blogs).

If you require original text in addition to gallery pics, what are the minimum requirements (if any) for word count?

You can't use your own Wordpress plugins. We offer a range of plugins for some additional functionality, for example automatic import of Free Hosted Galleries etc.



You can have image only blogs, many people do.

It's only situations where you have pure spam gibberish in blog posts to link keywords, or if you have blogs that are clearly nothing more than part of a link farm where we will take action.

Set up a blog and try it, you can always shut down the blog again if you don't like our platform.

Wp-recaptcha is a great comment spam fighting tool

Spammers can defeat captcha easily using a service like deathbycaptcha.

This looks like a great service. I am going to set up a few blogs on it to drive traffic to my content site.

Today we made some performance improvements which result in blogs loading more quickly.

All the blogs are now indexed by Node.XXX and of course visitors to the PornBlogs.XXX home page can still click to see a full site list ordered by latest updates.
