    whats the ecpm you guys get while selling traffic ?

    just curious ,

    how many hits do i need daily to cover up my hosting cost. say $200 for dedicated server.

    so whats the ecpm you guys getting while selling traffic ? to various sites like
    exoclick
    juicyads
    plugrush

      Depends on a lot of traffic variables
      Number of ad zones
      Countries traffic is from
      Quality of traffic
      Amount of interested buyers
      Engagement of users
      Etc, etc.

      It's a tough question to answer fast, you'd need to know how many pages per visit each user will see, how many ad zones on each page, where the majority of the traffic is from and how desireable those countries are.

              mixed countries
              majority 3rd world then USA,UK

              its the new project iam working on and need to decide how many months will it take to reach break even point.

                  to break even, you wouldn't need a whole lot of organic traffic, you are trying to earn $6 per day, I'd estimate with that mixture, without knowing specific %, you'd need about 4-5,000 users per day. Throw in an index page ad, pop under and footer ads, you could make $200 with as little as 2,000 users per day.

                  These numbers are very rough estimates based on 5 pages per session on a tube site with 4xNTV ads.

                      20,000 daily uniques at least if this is just general unfiltered traffic. MY number is probably far less optimistic but I'm not trying to sell you anything. Good luck!

                                      update :

                                      i have tried setting up popunder and i am getting

                                      $0.622 avg. ecpm, so roughly i would need 10k traffic per day to make $6 per day and pay the server rent $200 monthly.,

                                      but its just one popunder while testing, in prod, i have 5 ad spots so i guess, it will be much easier to reach the $6/day goal/.

                                                  I think that in this day and age, people are used to pop-unders and expect them on adult istes. But yea, usually the bounce rate will increase a little bit when you add pops.

                                                                          China is becoming more and more sought after, we have a pretty large buyer paying $1.00 cpm all of last month for pops, he is now evaluating this week before buying again. Casino companies in China value adult traffic, you just have to know how to find/handle them.
