I think US popularity in russia is around 10-20% the other 80-90% think you are assholes...not my statistics I read it in the news...

I'll give you the simple run down as to why Americans don't care what others think. It's because almost no other country has any impact on our daily lives. Russia out side of seeing the Ukraine coverage on the news has next to zero impact on daily life in the US.

Meanwhile the US has a lot of impact on your life, if for nothing else we are who your govt uses to demonize in order that you don't get pissed off at how shitty your govt is.

Ever notice that? No where is there a front page tab on any US News site giving "Russia" a section. Russia is just mixed in with Eastern Europe or Europe it's self with news reporting..

Meanwhile go to RT.com and what do you see? The second tab is US, the third is UK. Why is that? Because RT is a Russian govt propaganda mouth piece and they want you to see all the horrible things the West has done to cause you to live in your mud hut and burn American flags. They want you to be angry at everyone else so Putin and his cronies and continue to rape your country..
