Yes, they exist. I think attraction has little to do with the function of the eyes, but rather whats in your brain related to what you perceive with all of your senses. I don't think of pheromones as something you'll smell, but rather something that will act on your brain in a fashion far too subtle to be noticed and pinpointed. There's a lot of science on this stuff. Just watching the Botany of Desire could be eye opening about the human brain and what can influence it.

Sure, pheromones work. Not as strong as they do with dogs, the visual cortex has outpaced older parts like the olfactory brain, but smell, our oldest sense, still works unconsciously. Humans are strange, they even can get aroused just by watching pictures - without any smell! Your dog will never understand this!

I do believe in phermones, but I think it's not just a matter of quantity but somethign along the lines of people releasing various pheromones and other people being attracted to certain ones. I found alot of times that I would be more attracted to a 6/10 then a 10/10 for whatever reason.
