One of the funniest moments of my life involved the police and a baby cow when I was a kid. I grew up out in the country. One afternoon some of our neighbor's cows got loose. They were standing in the street blocking traffic and causing issues. A police car ends up showing up and scares most of the cows out of the road. There was one calf that didn't seem to care about his loud horn so the officer got out of his car and started walking up to the calf yelling at it hoping to scare it away. The calf lowered its head and charged him. That cop jumped over the hood of his car like he was one of the Dukes of Hazard. He slid across the hood landed on the other side of the car and hauled ass up to our porch where he sat catching his breath and cursing the cow.
About 10 minutes later the guy that owned the cows showed up. His young son walked right up to the calf and led it off the road like it was nothing. As the cop walked back to his car he was just shaking his head.Comment

They used pistols in my hometown. The papers said it was a bull in the parking lot. I don't know. The pistols didn't work for them either. They ended up using a shotgun.
In Cambodia, It costs good money to shoot a cow.
