    I just had a 1 month meltdown

Time to start my new year over again !!

When was the last time you had a meltdown ? As in having to take time away from it all and assessing a few ongoing things in your life...

Damn. Been a long time thankfully!

Sometimes you just need a little re-charge, maybe a side project?

Are you going to go away? Where are you going to go?

Gonna try and keep busy again that's for sure.

Probably time away just now isn't the best idea for me, since i need to get back into the swing of things again. But i will make plans soon for a nice getaway!

For me it's not exactly a 'meltdown' (tho last Friday I went apeshit on a company rep who misrepresented his services and began over-charging me. Does that count?). It's more like 'burnout' after days and days of sitting in front of the computer. So when I get like that I do take a break. Maybe fly to Europe for a vacay or go visit friends in SF.

Hope it works out for you man, and remember to have fun (if you can)!

I had a mini one in the summer. Took some time off camping and touring the province and visiting family and friends, and came back with a renewed perspective and motivation. I've had a few of these over the years of varying severity. What I've learned is that the world will still be there when you get back from whatever you need to do. It's very important to take care of your own self and own health, because noone else will do that for you.

This was something i let spiral out of control over a period of time. Involving people i care about.

Never expected it at all to end like this...

The only guy in the history of self-employed people never to have had burnout. I'm impressed

I do this. Auto pilot most shit and forget the rest. Then take some "you time". I did it last year. Yep, the income suffers. But when I am focused and hitting it, it gets real good so you have to keep that focus.

                                        re-evaluated what?

I need to learn the scales of value then its missing from my book on re-evaluation.
