One thing I hated about this business was that you're always sitting on your ass. One of the reason I just couldn't do it anymore.

Take care of yourself out there.

Yeah he was around from the beginning. Never heard anyone say one bad thing about him. Good guy, very sad.

SongRider 02-09-2015 07:31 PM

Did you even read anything past the title?

RIP.. That's way too young. I'm curious why a lot of people are saying their first assumption was a heart attack. Did he have an existing condition? That's scary that someone so young could die from a heart attack

That's so sad :(

Life was too short R.I.P.

MyDogHasFleas 02-14-2015 12:13 AM

I remember him from back in the day. I remember the galleries he used to make. I was trying to think how long ago that was. It had to be at least 10 years ago. Back in the old days of AWI. More like 2000 or so. I don't remember. I just poured a glass of cold beer in his memory.

rabbit 02-14-2015 07:29 AM

man... that's so sad. he was young too! one of the nicest and friendliest people in the biz. was also one of the first I met at the shows. we didn't do much biz together, but he always remembered my name. my condolences to his friends & family.

AdultB2B 02-15-2015 02:20 AM

Oh no, that's terrible! Was Phil even 50?

He was a real good guy!

My condolences to his family and friends.

Naughty 02-15-2015 09:58 AM

May he rest in peace.

PhillipB 02-15-2015 07:04 PM

R.I.P. friend. Like many, Phil was one of the first people I met in the industry. We were close back in the day but unfortunately lost touch over the years. Just an overall sweet and loving guy...not a bad bone in his body. Big Phil, you will be missed. :angel

cosis 02-15-2015 09:53 PM

Wow I always thought he was a great person. RIP man
