I have an xxx pinboard website, and I would not say, that they are bad for visitors from search. Why there is no good traffic from Google.com to sex.com? Pinterest.com seems to be very good (much better seo parameters though).

look at how the serps have evolved over the last few years. google is simply phasing out out porn from their results. -
I obviously dont have access to all Google stats, but some xxx websites / a lot of xxx websites still do good. I did not look into this further yet, but what sense would it make. If people search for "blowjob videos" or "big cock anal sex pictures" it does not seem to make sense to show them something else...Comment

Interesting. If you search pinterest.com in google it will show you the site name nime and the direct link. If you search sex.com it will show different pages like /gif , etc. maybe it's because the different site structure that these sites use...Comment

It looks like they set up different subdomains (country codes) for different countries at sex.com. They probably use targeting in Google Webmaster Tools, or some other things. As far as SimilarWeb.com, sex.com is 61st biggest xxx site in the World now. I am not sure how this works though, I've seen websites with much higher traffic having lower rankings than sites with less visitors per month.
Anybody uses SimilarWeb.com, by the way. I've been planning to do it for over a year now. Is it good / worth it?Comment
