I posted before about this guy. It's always interesting to see how bad decisions can deliver a terrible outcome for even the wealthiest in the world. He repeatedly said he would pass Carlos Slim and Bill Gates to become the richest man in the world by 2015.

Eike Batista was 7th richest man in the world and was worth $35 Billion at his peak in 2012 and he is now Bankrupt with a net worth of (negative) $1.5bn - all happened in just three years.

But in spite of what has happened to him, there is no way on earth that you can own $35bn of wealth and not have some amount of (probably tens if not hundreds of millions) with another legal entity beneficial to you. So as much as people like to laugh at his downfall, in reality, he will still have huge wealth and he will still probably have his chick unless she runs off for other reasons.
