Tech Can anyone recommend a 2-in-1 laptop/tablet? Im in the market for one

Im looking to buy a 2 in 1, so a thin laptop that flips over and turns into a tablet. I was all sold on the Lenovo Yoga pro 3 but then I saw that theres other models on the market by Asus and HP. I'd like to keep it under $1,000.

Anyone here bought one they can recommend?

oh and I tried the Surface Pro 3 and they succked, hate the keyboard I couldnt do any real work on it

You end up compromising, it's not worth it.

    Get a Macbook Air.

I was just going to say - at least in this thread crapple heads could not push their amazing amazing products.
Boy was I wrong, and with the first reply

A person is looking for something that apple does not produce, yet they still manage to suggest some apple product

        Amazing level of something....

i bought Toshiba - Satellite Radius 2-in1 11.6" Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Celeron - 4GB Memory - 500GB Hard Drive - for my daughter. she said it's a great laptop to take notes on in class. it's also lightweight so it's easy to transport. it was a great price especially since it turns into a tablet. would definitely recommend!

your 1st sentence was correct then you had to blow it by being a apple fanboy

2 in one's are not meant for webmaster's that do real work on them. A few mos. ago I bought a Dell touchscreen laptop with intel Core i7 cpu, 1 TB harddrive, and 8gigs of ram. I also bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5. I love both of them and they serve their purposes at around $1,300 at best buy (before I bought 23" display, keyboard, and mouse.)

I use an Acer Aspire Switch when I'm not at home and want to work. Does everything I need it to do.. It's a bit small, but I can live with that.

I have a Surface Pro 2 and it's perfect for me.

I use it mostly as a tablet at home, check email, read books, Facebook, etc. On the plane it's great for movies and music, and on the road I slap the keyboard on it and it's a full laptop, although the Surface Pro 2 is a bit small. However, I like it small - Very easy to transport, carry on a plane, etc.

I want to buy the Surface Pro 3, but.... I have two PCs, four laptops, and the Surface.... Don't need anything more.

isn't this the best 2 in 1 unit out there? if its not that great then i guess the rest are pretty poor.

Shit, I had to buy a keyboard for $135. I don't think the keyboard I got is bad at all, I just don't like the way the Surface deals with opening and closing windows. Sometimes it's confusing to find things you were working on, or close a window that's open. I shouldn't need to watch a video on how to get around a tablet. It should be intuitive like an iPad.
