                              Just a terrible performance from Ulbricht's lawyer. They would have been better off pleading guilty and asking for lenience.

                              The government had their shit in order and the defense brought a knife to a gun fight.

                              It's funny how a guy who is smart enough to run an online drug marketplace is enough of a dumbass to still live in the USA while doing that and get caught redhanded with enough information on his pc to put him away for life. This guy will be lucky if he gets out in 20 years at this point.

                                      Was he really that smart? Seemed pretty sloppy to me. A smart person would have taken more precautions.

                                      This is the same guy who arranged for the execution of [I think it was] five people, paid over a half million for it and then saved the chat and transaction logs. Yeah, he was likely scammed out of that money, but he thought he was getting people killed.
