      I dont understand why his sentence was so stiff. He didnt post the pictures, others uploaded them.
      Its the same argument the tubes make, they dont post the stolen content, "the users do". and that lets them get out of it

        He wasn't convicted of having the content, he was convicted of trying to extort people and stealing identities.

        It's related to his site because he was basically blackmailing people for new content (send me more nudes to get it removed), but the revenge porn aspect itself is not illegal.

              Did you get it? Read below, and you maybe understand it:
              "The prosecution said that Bollaert would charge upwards of $350 from the affected person who would like the images/data to be removed from ugotposted."

                  He created a separate website and offered to get the women removed from the site for a $250-$350.

                    I saw yesterday that he ended up getting sentenced to 18 years.
