    Is there somewhere I can upload a zip file of about 400Mb

    that will let me know when the other person has downloaded it?

    Its just a one off thing - I'm kinda looking for proof that he has got it, so a free service if possible please

                      I uploaded a file and it gave me a link. I then downloaded the file, but it didn't give me confirmation via my email I submitted... Is it not an instantaneous thing? In other words, how long after the download do I get confirmation?

                                                                              well I get the emails if I send via email, but when I select 'link' I dont get confirmation. I guess you only get the confirmation if they use the link in the email. Not the link they give me. Shame...
