This is just for show. One bomber wouldn't do anything. If a missile was detected coming out of North Korea, it would take a relative eternity to get a bomber in the air. However launching a missile from a submarine that is sitting off the coast, that is really fast and efficient.

It's a symbolic warning aimed at N. Korea...not a tactical offensive.
