Obama wants to reach into the pockets of U.S. companies everywhere, raise taxes on just about every form of wealth and spend more and more on social schemes that corral citizens into the care of the state and freely heap new debt on future generations.

Presidents are supposed to lead, guide and convince. Instead, Obama makes excuses for our enemies, ignores economic reality and acts unilaterally.

Modern political and social societies do not (*at least should not) behave like was done 1000 or 500 years ago. I guess the last throw-back was the Nazi Third Reich. What we are taxing businesses at and what they are paying is two vastly different things. I own multiple businesses and I write off everything. I work from home so I can write off a part of my mortgage, my power bill, my internet, my cell phone bill... I have a twenty-five year old truck that I write off because it's considered a "company car" - perfectly legal because my wife's business MUST haul around gear on a weekly if not daily basis (I guess we could just lease a brand new truck for the business, but then we would just be writing off MORE).

This is a billionaire like Warren Buffet with $73 BILLION in his pocket pays less taxes than his secretary. It's ridiculous.

And our economy is booming, thank you.

Can you show me where on that list Iran invaded anyone? No, you can't, because you cannot debate. Someone makes a statement or asks a question and you try overwhelm them by copying and pasting in information which is irrelevant to the question.

As a country, have they attacked and invaded another country and declared war? According to your list, no, they haven't.

Now compare that to the track record of the US. How many countries have we invaded or attacked?

This discussion is about "reclaimed lands sized by the Muslims". But since you brought it up, couldn't you say that Muslims now are rising up to reclaim lands sized by Americans? It was okay when Christians did it during the Crusades, but not okay for Muslims to do the same now?

This is point Obama was making, and the point you fail to see. The crusades were a military campaign in the name of our god, while ISIS is a military campaign in the name of their god. No one is saying ISIS is right or wrong, or even acceptable, but instead he is saying before we judge others we should re-consider our past actions. We've been here before, we've done this ourselves, all in the name of our god.

Being invaded or being attacked is two different things.

Iran, as a country and a military force, never initiated hostilities by invading another country (at least not in the past one hundred years). Iran did in fact invade Iraq, but only have Iraq attacked first. Outside of the Iran Iraq war (in which Iran was attacked), can you provide me a list where Iran deployed tens of thousands of troops into combat in a foreign country in the past one hundred years?
