Pharrell Williams and Al Gore announce Live Earth 2015

The unlikely combination of Pharrell Williams and Al Gore have announced what they hope to be the largest global campaign in history, in the form of a second round of Live Earth concerts to promote awareness of climate change. The concerts will take place across all seven continents ? including Antarctica ? on 18 June.

Surprise! I agree with you. But then again I've never cared what celebrities say. I like artists and actors for what they create, and could care less about what they do in their personal lives. Tom Cruise for example, is a great actor, regardless of his Oprah goofiness.

Maybe the better question is, how many people can learn from it, and what will they do to help after the show?

I want to say nothing, but then again, a lot of people do what celebs tell them to do even when it makes no sense or is just wrong.

I learned anyone using 20 times the national average electric consumption at his personal residence and flying a private jet will only have the blind following them when they preach about being green.
