1) Facebook - create a page / pages + promote in Facebook groups (related)
2) Twitter - create an account, get followers by following people following related / relevant accounts (there is a lot more to Twitter, and I still need to learn it)
3) VK.com - create a page / pages, there are groups over there too (similar to Facebook)
4) G+ - dont use it if you have xxx content on your site, I am assuming you would want to get people from there to your site, and if you have any type of xxx pics or videos, it is not good for this, they will ban you
5) Reddit - create an account / accounts (if there is a lot of accounts you may want to use proxies) - vote up and down, add comments, add links to your and possibly other content and make sure it is good (dont just add 10 links in a row to your domain, and on the top with shitty content, as it wont work; pretend to be a real user there, and submit good things)
7) StumbleUpon - open up an account, follow some people, browse some pages, add links to your sites, mix it up with something good, something like Reddit, be a real user there (there is more to StumbleUpon, I think, I would need to learn)
8) Tumblr - open up a blog, and add some pictures / videos / posts, follow other people, this is not hard
9) Sex.com - create an account there, pin pictures, you can automate it
10) Pinterest - you can use it too

All this you can do yourself, if you have time. No need to hire a company. They may charge you a lot of $$$ and it is an easy thing, it just takes time to do. Google / Seo is better than all these sites combined (maybe except for Reddit) as far as amount of visitors to your sites (I may be overestimating, as all this can add up, but it is not a whole lot, probably up to 20% of all visits to your sites combined, over time).

I have to disagree slightly, VK is very, very ban happy and if done right then tumblr provides by far the most consistent traffic. With reddit, you have to hit paydirt by getting a link accepted on one of the big subreddits and that's not that easy to do especially on a consistent basis. Reddit is also as ban-happy as VK.

I had 200 10-30+ posts blog deleted for no reason. It was suppose to be because of something, but it was 100% bs. So backing up Tumblr blogs is a good idea.

I would also want to know how does it work with vk.com. Is it the same as Facebook, where no xxx content is allowed? If I add a picture with naked tits or some other thing like that, does that make me banned / page deleted. Or do they send a warning. How exactly does it work, and what is allowed. I think that I've seen some xxx pics and videos there.

I also heard that StumbleUpon is good, if done right. I have not worked on this yet / tried. There are books about it on the Internet too. I think it is possible to do some automation with this (by using their website and no other thing, just like adding an rss feed to sex.com). One way or another, I've heard that StumbleUpon can send quite a lot of visitors, but I am not sure how at this point.

There is also other websites like 4 Chan, I've seen it on SimilarWeb.com. And social media traffic does not have to be 20% of the overall traffic, it can be a lot more, up to 50% or even more, but this would take working on it on a regular basis, probably several hours a day. Twitter can be possibly the best for this, with a lot of followers, and again, Reddit is good too.

I cannot remember now how I got banned (probably for a pair of tits or something) but the ban hammer came with no warning and as most of VKs traffic is Russian anyway I didn't bother opening another account and moved onto other SM sites so I cannot really help to much on monetising VK. If I was to give advise then it would be to sign up to every single SM site out there and look for plug-ins/bots/whatever to automate as much as possible.

I would say that it is still possible to get traffic from there, by using non-nude pictures and movies, just like on Facebook.com. oh, I'm sure that it's possible to get traffic from VK, it's just that, for me at least, the traffic I was getting just wasn't worth the bother and I just moved onto the next social media platform.
