Ever seen a picture of a dead relative?...

And no... I don't mean a picture of a relative who has died... i mean 'a picture of a dead relative'

Saw a picture of my dead grandma today... so I'm gonna go buy some weed now and try and wash that image from my brain.

I went over to visit my parents a few years ago and found my dad sitting in his recliner, dead of what turned out to be an aortal aneurysm. Mom was in the other room, she had no idea he was dead.

You don't forget images like that, but they don't have to disturb you either. Still have the recliner too.

I know what you mean. I was there when my grandfather was found dead. Mouth open, staring at the sky. Creeeeepy. I was 13 or so I think.

But then, my grandmother kept a picture of him in his coffin on her nightstand next to the bed. AND a picture of her own mother in her coffin. That shit creeped me out bigtime.

You never burn that image of your mind.

I remember Grandma when she died I was 12, she had nothing but always saved her pennys to give to us. That was 30 years ago and still remember the day in her coffin. The same funeral home was turned into a popular restaurant .

My mom, being a florist, took a picture of some of the flowers at my grandfather's (her dad's) funeral. She didn't realise that he was in the frame of a pic.
When she got the pix developed much later, it was pretty bad seeing her discover her mistake.

Thats fuckin strange... guess its a logical extension of the american obsession with elaborate embalmings, viewings, etc. tho

I've seen my grandfather being killed when I was almost 6 years old. Forgot completely until 12 years old and until today remembering new facts. Long sad story
