How do you make money from porn sites?

Hi guys, I have a simple question, there are tons of porn sites on the net, and most of them provide free content such videos etc, but how do these guys make money from their porn site? or how many ways to make money?

I see that there are many solo girls who have their own website, I am assuming they make their money from subscribers?

what about people who owns the website, how do they make the money?

I'm so confused about this, hope you guys can enlighten me.

Since your in the mainstream forum do you have experience webmastering sites? if so...
Then adult is lucrative if not then letting you know it requires the same amount of work if not more to make it in an established market. Find something unique or new either mainstream or adult that you can offer the world. you need some niche or some edge.

By the sound of it, this would eat up all of your time and life to make it a successful business. It would perhaps suit a person who has all the time in the world, but even if you were to delegate most of the work, it would still eat up most of your time dealing with the freelancers to get the jobs done, I have a lot of experience in developing and managing websites and I know how hard it is to find the right person do to the right job, unless you have a big budget to invest in to what you think maybe a good business then it may work, however, I've done a little market research and this business seems to have a huge competition and since I have no experience in this field I don't think I can come up with the next best thing that would differentiate from all the others.

I think the people who are making the money in this business are the ones who provides all the necessary content and not the ones who is trying to make a good living out of it, on the other hand, there seems to be millions of sites in this field so some must me making it or must be making better living than others.

What is the best niche that works as known by common sense in this field by the people who is in this business?

For someone looking to start without a huge investment of time and money, many
people set up a clip store at clips4sale.com for example. You can then see how people like your content, make some sales and go take it to the next level with a paysite perhaps using a company like CC Bill. Also you could start with some major Sponsors, many of which post here, doing affiliate marketing, sign up to some programs, buy a domain and start promoting. It will take alot of work to get sales going some sales in but when you do, it will keep you motivated to make more. Good luck!
