His whole campaign platform the first time, was about bringing both parties together, working together, being open and transparent, healing government etc etc etc. The moment he was elected he began doing the exact opposite. The first moment there was a need to debate a bill or that republicans didn't agree with him (over the financial bailouts at the time of his election), he started the whole party "the party of no" and started doing what he wanted. The very purpose of government is to debate, find agreement and work from those points of agreement. He wasted no time in throwing tantrums and acting immature and trying to run the country as a benevolent dictator, rather than as a leader.
