What's is your opinion on this?

A 70 year old American was convicted in a US Federal Court for a crime that he committed in Ensenada. If the conviction stands, it will be a real precedent setting event. Search "Norman Felts Conviction," if you're interested.

I think you guys are misreading this. He is not being charged for anything he did in Mexico. Instead....

As Felts tried to cross into the U.S. from Mexico on May 28, 2013, he was stopped and taken into custody by San Diego-based special agents with Homeland Security Investigations. In his possession, they found a loose hard drive that contained several images of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct, Duffy says. The pictures, which had been compiled between Jan. 2010 and May 2013, were found in a folder called ?One Million Recipes.?

He is also being charged with "18 U.S.C. 2423(c) Engaging in Illicit Sexual Conduct in a Foreign Place" - You cannot leave the US with the intention of having sex with a minor.

All of the other charges have to do with possession of CP, transporting CP, and a violation of being a sex offender and failing to register as such.

No matter.... The fucker deserves to go to prison.

Yes the guy absolutely deserves jail ... in Mexico. I wholeheartedly disagree with the Feds right to apply US law on a US citizen while in a foreign country. I have been aware that this law existed, but never known of a recent case where they actually applied it.

He was arrested in the US with CP on his person. It seems your reading comprehension sucks just as bad as your photography.
              .
Yes, fewer illegal immigrants working equates to more job opportunities for American citizens.
