Though a lot of people's thoughts on christians/muslims/fill in the blank are akin to me hating on you who enjoys a smoke, because I've lumped you in with dealers selling crack to schoolkids. Or equating junkies who swing old grannies around to rob their weekly pension money with guys who spend their own money on some smoke. Technically both are drug users, it's just one 'set' of those drug users are a bunch of cocksuckers, whereas plenty of other drug users are great people and don't try to force their shit on anyone (hi currently sober!).
It isn't that those people are religious, it's that those people are assholes. To pre-empt anyone... yes, there are lots of complete assholes that are religious, like there are a lot of complete assholes that are smokers, or black, or white, or drug users, or male, or female, or so on and so on.
Religion isn't for me, in the slightest, but the basics of religion are love & harmony, for lack of being bothered to be more succinct - because the vocal few misinterpret the analogies as literal, doesn't mean that the principles are bad

The Catholic Church is also the 3rd largest landowner in the world. If they care so much about the poor, why don't they give them a place to stay somewhere on the 177 million acres which they own?
I mean come now there has so be just a little space they could spare don't you think? With all that land around the world, there should be plenty of places for the homeless..
The simple fact is Religion is just a business and business is good. Most churches are more worried about the size of their steeple and how fancy of a church they can build, than doing work for the needy.

People can believe what the fuck they want, as long as the follow country rules.
That means:
Men and women are equal with equal rights.
Which means women can dress as they like.
Which means women has every right to work, drive, etc.
Your children can marry whoever they like.
If your beliefs forbid certain food, make your own and bring to school/work.
We are not a multi cultural society, nor are we interested in becoming one. If you move to Europe fx, it's expected it's because you like the lifestyle and like to live as one.
If you preach for a religious state, get the fuck out of our country.
If you live and breed by Islam, stay in the Middle East/Midde Age. If you are a batshit crazy Orthodox there's always Israel and so on..
Biggest problem today is people from the Middle East are 99% active religious, while in Europe or Scandinavia maybe 10-15%. We have moved on and split religion and politics.
Those who want to live, work and improve our society are always welcome. For the rest there are always other options.Comment
