      In Chicago the Summer is crazier as more people out in da streets especially those without A/C. Since it's always hot in Florida maybe people just snap off eventually.

                  Most people in FL are not from FL. The state seems to attract lots of useless trash from everywhere else and of course old people that can't drive for shit.

                          That happened about 10 minutes drive from me. It's not a trashy neighborhood; quiet, working class.

                          We do seem to take up more than our fair share of column inches in news of the weird and creepy.

                          The guy was mentally ill to begin with; schizophrenic. In all probability, his meds were off. Wild guess: the intake officers said, "Smile for the camera." They like to poke the caged animal.

                          It is tragic. On the other hand, someone like this ought to have been living in some sort of assisted care facility. But it's hard to get into one that's more than a warehouse for crazies. The state slashed its budget for mental healthcare two governors ago, and many such facilities closed their doors. Homeless rates quadrupled overnight.

                          Tragic on all ends.

                              Florida has more convicted Felons than any other state. I believe I read something like 10% of the total population are felons around 1.5mil.

                                                  Mitch he is correct. I was thinking about moving to Florida so I was researching crime statistics. It blew my mind, so I started looking at other states. Florida was the worst by far.

                                                                                                                      I live a little south from Tampa and I hate it. I'm stuck here because of family and job. I thought I was going to have to relocate to Mount Laurel NJ. So I looked around and loved it. People hate Jersey but I love it. Hoboken would be an ideal place to live but too expensive. Getting back to Florida. It sucks. Tampa is great if you like city with Hookers and things to do. MIAMI is good if you're into Cuban and ghetto craziness. Other than that it's hot. No season change. Maybe a sweater once a week and beaches. Beaches get old unless you came from the middle of the country or Europe etc... Florida is full of crazy pieces of loser shit that migrated here to get off drugs and live in a serene beach lifestyle. There is an over abundance of bums that travelled here to escape snow. The middle of the state is redneck toothless Jerry Springer cast members.

Just south of Daytona. Nothing is trashier than a row of cars parked on the beach with people laying out next to them. lol.

It's called the Garden State and for good reason. Once you move past the Newark / NYC Metro area it's very beautiful.

                                                                                                                                              I've done that once down by St. Pete many years ago.

                                                                                                                                              Started debating a Tampa move last year mainly due to most of my family departing Chicago for the Tampa to Sarasota region. Debate will continue this year and if I go will either happen this year or next and probably be Tampa or Orlando. Getting too old for the cold here but not sure I can handle the excessive heat/humidity there. Don't really wanna go just some family getting older so think I'll be forced to go eventually so maybe good to go now while I'm still young enough to start over and get ass.

                                                                                                                                                          Well, you know yourself how many cops there are in the state. It's pretty common just driving to the store and back you will see a handful of cops. You go to other states and you don't see cops like we have in FL. It's only in big cities and states like Ga and Texas that you see the same numbers of cops.

                                                                                                                                                          With that many cops out there, they are going to "find" people to arrest and crimes that might get a slap on the wrist or a warning in other states.
