    Hats off to Sly's dedication

    I am here a lot, perhaps because I am new. One thing I can say is the dedication from Admin/Moderator Sly can not go unnoticed.

    Periodically, very periodically I check to see which AVN employee is currently online. Do not ask me why and no I am not a stalker, I just check.

    Sly is ALWAYS here. Eric is here more than you think too.

    No specific reason and no I am not kissing butt. I just wanted to let him know that people appreciate his dedication and quick response to potential trouble causing threads.

                                                              If OP is duplicate nick and OP thinks Sly may know that (because of IP for example) there would be no point in buttering up because that would not prevent from Sly following rules.
                                                              If OP is duplicate nick and OP thinks there is no way for Sly to detect/know that there would be no point in buttering up because Sly would not ban him anyway. Unless he broke rules in the future, but in that case buttering up would not prevent from banning because of integrity.

If you create a civil environment from the start (i.e. the opposite of GFY) and are swift with the banhammer, you'll have a lot less shit to mod.

                                                                                                                                      One of the easiest ways to weed out bad seeds is to allow some trusted users to issue infractions. Then have it set so that after a certain number of infractions the user gets banned. Easy peasy.
