Business Marry An American & You Have To Report To IRS

Not American? You might have to report to the IRS anyway - Yahoo Finance

"I grew up in the U.S., and appreciate the opportunities it gave me, [but now] I view my U.S. citizenship as a tax in of itself and see myself renouncing in the next few years unless the situation changes," Millard said.

Sheesh...... freedom much? This might not be news but I heard recently they're thinking of escalating this so that you don't even need to be married to the American, just dating one. Sooner or later American's will become beacons and if you happen to be standing next to one, all your financial transactions will be reported back to the IRS automatically

Sounds like common sense to me.... If someone marries a US citizen, they have the opportunity to become an American themselves, right? And if they move to the US would be required to pay taxes. I would imagine the IRS would want to know.

Where it gets them? You can get a visa more easily in some countries and it will be longer duration than many other countries but how much better than an EU passport?
