    I am going to drive to Walmart

    ...and do some shopping. There are not that many people this time of the night...which is the way I prefer it. I have a little xmas shopping to complete and I may pick up a new portable generator for myself...depending on what they have.

                          75 each way. That's a lot of night driving for an old man like you. But being on a fixed income you should consider it so you can save your bingo money. I'm with the others and suggest you chug a bottle of whiskey. It will keep you warm on that drive out highway 38 to Roseburg.

                              well hit them early morning they open at 6am here. i hate crowds as well. i got mine at harbour freight a killer ass deal. i have a farm i take it out there when im out there 13500 Peak/11000 Running Watts, 22 HP (670cc) Gas Generator EPA III

                                          Asswipe...I do live on a fixed income...by choice...and it is around $50,00 per annum. I could increase my income if I took dividends from my stock but since I usually live off of around $25,000 per annum I roll my dividends over. BTW...I do not consider mid fifties to be that old...sport.

                                                                                          I agree, I do not like shopping with a lot of people around. Have you considered shopping online? A lot of great deals and, the items are delivered to your front door.
                                                                                          A lot of merchants accept paypal too.
