My new production company, Holofilm Productions, has been ramping up our content production primarily in southern California.
We are soon going to expand production by an additional 2 scenes a week, and the plan is to do that out of Vancouver. The only problem is that we don't have a good source for performers yet.
I've found it's often helpful to come here before I trod down paths that have already been tried, and see if anyone has insights. So I'd love to hear if anyone has any experience casting in Vancouver, and if so, where do you go or how have you done it?
The shoots we are doing are all virtual reality and hologram content. Our sites will be opened to the public in January (if all goes according to schedule).
We've been sourcing all the top stars in California for the shoots so far, and we have several more schedule there over the next few months; but since we are local to Vancouver, it will be much easier for us to shoot at our own studios here.
Anyway, and insights or thoughts or help would be appreciated!
