In the Uk, Amazon offer a free no obligation 30 day trial to Amazon Prime... Do they not offer the same in the states?

Prime is a 30 day trial Plus free shipping on all products Prime is worth it i've had it for a few years now

you know what sucks? restocking fees. I bought a widget that doesn't work and am being charged 20% to have them put it back on the shelf. doesn't matter if it's $1 or $1,000,000 or weighs 1 oz or 1 ton, it's 20% fee to return it.

fuck that shit. no restocking fees at amazon.

If you compare the loss of "free shipping" vs the subscription... maybe.
But the retention of customers they get is priceless.
Say you see a product at $45 at amazon and $40 + shipping at another e-store, what are you going to pick?

Amazon rocks. I've been a Prime member for some time; It pays off for us being as we are always buying stuff from Amazon.

I haven't seen this show yet but I plan to watch it this weekend.
