So I saw The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies yesterday...
pretty good if you like huge battles, maybe too many "funny" situations if you take this serious - but overall very solid and a good ending to this trilogy that connects to LOTR

Just wondering - did you see it in the HFR/48 format? Or the standard IMAX format? If you saw it in HFR what did you think?
I just wonder if it looks freaking incredible, or freaking distracting. Is hyper-real too real? Does it look like a movie? or a does the "soap opera" effect ruin it?
I couldn't get past the dwarves continuously falling 1000 feet and being fine or the unkillable superfast elves that look like CGI. Hoping this one is less marvel and more tolkein
