    Rant HostedTube Weird Earnings

    I haven't checked my HostedTube stats in a while and took a look today.

    November 2014 one of my domains had 3.1 million page views and earned ZERO.



    October 2014 the same domain had 1.4 million page views and earned ZERO.



    My other two domains had considerably less and earned something.

    WTF is going on!

    Am I better off making my own site and put plugrush and juicyads on it?

          I think I will create my own site next weekend.

          I just checked Septembers stats and the same domain had 2,361,665 page views. Earned nothing.

                  Yep, 3,1M page views but just 2,7k uniques and 6k video views, must be SE bots or something like that.

                      Hold the press. For this month I have earned a PENNY with over 1.4 million page views.

                      The other domain has 1.5k page views and earned 0.29 cents.

                      Something is not right at all.

                          I saw this in my stats too. Notice that there is a very low number of unique IPs and video views compared to the page views so IMO those page views aren't generated by real visitors but by the bots, but let's see what Pimproll guys say.

                              That makes sense but for some reason that particular domain name gets over a million views per month. I do not know why.

                                      You should really put Google Analytics code in your sites.

                                      My pageviews in GA were far different from those in Hosted Tube. GA seems to filter bot views...

                                                      I would focus on the unique IPs/video views. Some of my domains at Hostedtube have hundreds of thousands of pageviews but in my Google Analytics I see only a dozen of visitors for the same timeframe. So Hostedtube probably shows Googlebot,Bing,Baidu as regular visitors in their stats.

                                                                                              Btw at statcounter I've almost the double amount of unique visitors as at hostedtube stats. But again the pageview is more at hostedtube stats then at statscounter
