    Microsoft accepts bitcoin for app+game purchases

Those funds can then be used to purchase content in the Windows Store, or in stores that house Xbox Games, Xbox Music or Xbox Video."

                          You could have exchanged your bitcoins into dollars at bitpay and use it anywhere (including windows store) even before this announcement. The only difference - more convenient integration. But technically they are still accepting dollars and not bitcoins.
