    Hiring: Director of Sales

If anyone knows of a candidate, please send them my way!

Looking for a solid Director of Sales in the Silicon Valley, CA area. Candidates should have a demonstrable book of work, excellent references, and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Company is a venture-backed startup company based in Sunnyvale, CA. Relocation will be required if you are not in this area. We are post-revenue, and growing quickly.

Salary is $95,000/yr or 300 Bitcoins/yr -- your choice. Stock options will also be provisioned. Reports directly to VP of Business Development.

Sunnyvale is an expensive place to live, good luck filling this job.
Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
    think about that

Good luck with the company, doing the same thing myself. Waiting for the last thing to complete, then we can launch. This is going to shock a few people. Also, taking over TheAdultSpot.com, adult social network.

Awesome! I moved to CA in August of last year. I am in CT and NYC right now, visiting family as well as meeting with Mozilla and AngelPad. Heading to FL to visit friends, then I'll be back in Cali early January.

How long did it take you guys to raise funding? I think it happened pretty quickly for us, all things considered -- but then again, the market we're addressing is one with a large pain, and the technical solution is quite elegant.

No reputable company I know of pays in barrels of oil. Bitcoin payments are common in Silicon Valley, and there are ATM machines all through the valley that convert Bitcoins to cash, and vice versa ... but I wouldn't expect you to be aware of trends. You're the guy sitting on the sidelines not making money.

Anyone else fucking detest reading résumés? They are usually so fluffed up. I have to hire people from time to time and I fucking hate it when people email me their résumé even though I do not ask for it. I got a good job one time because I called the business owner and told him I thought résumés were BS and if he wanted someone who produce results that he should give me a shot. It worked. I also refuse to use business cards. They are bullshit. People take your card then then blank you out of their memory but if they ask for your card and you tell them "I refuse to use business cards" they remember you. Then you exchange contact info and enter it into your phone right on the spot which is much more effective.

I'm the VP of affiliate marketing, the owner has been working in stocks and trading for some time and has been getting funding for the start up. The whole thing confuses me. Good thing for me that he doesn't understand affiliate marketing.

I can't wait for the full launch, I've set up affiliate software that I have never used before and had to learn a lot, which I love doing.

I come up to northern cali about twice a year thru Sacramento towards Redding ca where my family lives. Next ride up there, I'll do a detour and visit you!

Indeed, since I am an idiot I do not have enough brain to succeed in business.

Hmm, never heard of that. Generally, there's OfferIt (NATS), HasOffers, and CAKE. All the others don't usually hit my radar.

I don't remember that, but I hardly think that applies. We are launched , but just selling vape products so far at a 25% commission. The big thing that will put us on the map is coming soon.

I have exactly same opinion about it.I find resumes policy retarded as they dont really show do you have skills or not.Of course, they are anyway used as "first step" of filtering, but you might losing someone good just because he does not having a real job experience. And also you could get a dead beat who have tons of experience but in reality dont do shit just because he think how his resume is enough.
And yes i use same approach with refusing bussiness cards but people spam me with it anyway. But one way or another if i tend to bussiness with someone i will contact them instead waiting for them to contact me.

I got to know a few people on that side of the internet and someone I trust who has been in the business a long time gave his okey dokey about Post Affiliate Pro. When I found out they had a network set up and I could buy it outright, I went with it and love it so far. It's very powerful.

So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants

I went to work for Google following that, enhancing the evolution and adoption of the Python language. After that, I went to Amazon, and concurrently worked as a consultant for a veritable who's-who of adult companies, including SexKey, Sex.com, MobBucks, GigaCash, Playboy, Pride Studios, PimpRoll, Reality Cash, and a ton of others.

After that, I started a number of valley companies which were acquired early, and I'm currently doing another venture-backed Silicon Valley startup at Plug and Play in Sunnyvale, where PayPal and Dropbox were born. I'm also consulting for Google again, and a few others.

In adult, I obviously coded Autoblogger Pro Stand Alone, but Chio ran away with the money. I also started FeedPushers (the first morphing RSS in adult), which had a ton of success before being bought.

As far as my "current" success, I attribute that to being an excellent developer and development manager, and always delivering on what I promise. People know that my word is gold, and that if I tell you a project is going to happen, it happens. Because of this, I can charge a princely sum for my work and be able to sleep just fine at night.

My cryptocurrency bots trade in Bitcoin, Litecoin, DOGEcoin, and a number of others. As far as a "long term" investor, I am more of an "in and out" trader, although I do hold quite a bit of DOGEcoin and Bitcoin. My wallets aren't very hard to find in the blockchain -- I don't hide them much, and they stand out due to their size.
