At no point was the thread pointing to anti US guns. We found it amusing when we read it on twitter, noticing the display of purchasing an item before 8 am had different said rules to that after

I don't know about Kosovo, but I have a few Bosnian Muslim families as neighbors. Aside from not eating pork there's no difference between me and them. They drink, they smoke, they're very "westernized", if you will. Their wives dress normally and their kids go to the same school as my kids.
Now I don't know how representative they are of Bosnian Muslims as a whole. But if you are to believe them, then they're very representative. Short of a small bunch of more radical believers, like crucifissio said. Yet those are nowhere near as radical as these UK ones, according to my neighbors.Whitehat is for chumps

as for your country and culture, I must say that 10% of the british population are what I strived to become in life: a true gentleman...you will not find more eloquent and well mannered people than the british...the true british not the fish and chip football hooligan...I went to private schools and admired the way true british gentleman spoke with good style and a vocabulary that is second to none...dressing up in 3 piece suits and writing with an ink pen and learning table manners for kids starting 7 years old...this is what I call positive brain wash...making kids in to gentlemen...

you mean family courts where women are treated like cattle and get stripped of all rights they would have under normal law?No one here seems to get the point of these Shariah councils, and the enforcement thugs in those videos certainly don't.
Take a breath and please take a few moments to read below with an open mind...
Shariah courts were set up by the authorities in the UK for parties who both want to settle their differences under Islamic law rather than UK law, which is essentially Roman law with different attitudes to marriage, divorce, will & probate etc
Shariah courts don't deal with crime, fraud etc; they're essentially an Islamic alternative to our UK Family courts.
These courts are definitely not about people imposing their value systems on alcohol, dress etc on other people and somehow, accidentally or not, these thugs have been labelled as imposing the wishes are are representatives of Shariah courts... which they definitely are not!
If people here really believe in freedom of speech, then they should allow parties who want to settle their differences under Shariah law to do so.
