Tech 240 GB SSD Drive $89 on Amazon

    Kingston Digital 240GB SSD $89

I got my first SSD drive last week, a Samsung 840 EVO 250GB. I transferred my operating system to the drive, HUGE difference in performance and boot time. Went on Amazon and bought a 1TB one today for my higher end system and noticed the Kingston on sale. Great find for anyone thinking of making the switch to SSD. Have a great day

Edit: If you want to hook it up via USB there's an adapter here for about $13.

Looking at the list price that they have for the 128gb one is a rip off. They have it on "sale" for $49.99. The ACTUAL price of this, at least in Canada is $69.99 from http://www.ncix.com/detail/kingston-...n-8c-78078.htm

The 240gb one Amazon has the list price at $370.. Another bullshit price.. I can get it for $119.98 and on sale for $99.98 from NCIX also. All prices from NCIX are in Canadian dollars. So nope, not really a "good" deal from Amazon.com in my opinion.

Oh and NCIX US prices are a little lower then the Canadian one.

Besides, I prefer Plextor SSDs. either the M5S/M5 Pro ones or the M6S

Prices in Toronto for computer parts are almost always lower than in the USA. I don't know why, but it's always been that way. You'll rarely see a US deal that compares favourably to what you can get at Canada Computers etc.

The Amazon regular prices aren't bullshit. I bought my Samsung 500GB there last week and paid a lot more, when I noticed this today I contacted customer service via chat and they issued me a credit for the difference which was cool.

So you're linking to NCIX to a totally different product that's out of stock and saying what a great deal it is good for you to not link to any actual better deal that's available for the actual product I posted about and just complain

I just mentioned the 120gb one because they also have that one listed for a much higher price. I didn't mention the Samsung drive since it had nothing to do with the link you put in your post.

and the 240gb one was mentioned in my post just not linked, but http://www.ncix.com/detail/kingston-...80209-1029.htm. (same exact product in this case) I don't care whether Amazon will credit you if you mention the price difference. You should have to in the first place. The ACTUAL list price is less then $120. And ya, I complained. Anyone would at those stupid prices. Maybe be a good on sale price, but their list prices need to be changed. Just my opinion.
