I have totally lost interest in Hollywood movies, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Think I might start checking out more independent films.

Hopefully it offers a better explained back story than the original did. Tom Hardy is a way better actor than Mel Gibson ever was though, so that's definitely a plus.

Personally I wouldn't have bothered watching it just for me, however I'm always looking out for the films which will interest my 9yo, this one fits the bill
