    Operation Goldeneye

    Learn something new every day...

Operation Goldeneye was an Allied plan during World War II, which was to monitor Spain after a possible alliance between Francisco Franco and the Axis powers and to undertake sabotage operations. The plan was formed by Commander Ian Fleming of the Naval Intelligence Division - who wrote all of the James Bond novels.

Ian Fleming went to Jamaica during the war to investigate uboat sightings - and eventually bought a house there where he would write all of the Jame Bonds novels.

I knew Iam Fleming was a real life spy, but I always thought he was more of a desk kind of guy.... .

More related to GFY, "Goldeneye" was one of the first pieces of windows software used for brute force hacks into paysites. It was amazing to see how weak security was back in the days.
