it's not one width, our designer made lots of width with different images & menu status, needing to use css & html5, also something called bootstrap :thumbsup

WordPress Mobile Plugin - Rocket Plugins

Only problem is that from some reason it is not showing FLV videos that should be streamed. Maybe it because I don't have flash player on tablet and mobile phone?

Just use a responsive theme. There's plenty of them.

Diomed 11-22-2014 04:21 PM

If your not using a responsive design these days with all of the mobile devices and tablets, your already losing cash.

MediaGuy 11-22-2014 04:22 PM

People *join* on mobile, they rarely enjoy the content on those devices...

:D

i ran a new responsive site and an older non-responsive site through the test, both had 'Awesome! Your site is mobile friendly.'

So it seems that they dont really see responsive as mandatory for being good for mobile - static pages are just as good.

PornDiscounts-V 11-23-2014 09:05 AM

The vast majority of my mobile users don't like responsive designs. They buy big screen phones because they want to see a full site. Not some responsive crap that looks like it was made for elderly people.

secretrevolver 11-23-2014 01:04 PM

where did you read this about google? you have a link?

Seth Manson 11-23-2014 02:17 PM

This gets even worse.

Use your phone, go to google, search for something. Scroll through the first page of results, at the bottom click through to the next page.

Now on the second page, do the same thing. Try to go to page 3 of your search results.

Come back here and tell me what happens.

I'm seeing the same exact thing on both Safari and Chrome browsers on my iPhone 6.

When did google stop letting you go past the 2nd page of search results on your mobile device?

Seth Manson 11-25-2014 04:23 AM

Nobody read that? ^^^

johnny_d 11-25-2014 04:53 AM

Mobile redirection code is no longer good, for xxx sites. It is better to use banner ads, and popunder code. If you use Plugrush's code, they automatically recognize mobile users, and direct them to a mobile version of their popunder ads.

The best way to monetize mobile traffic, is by far, Sex Goes Mobile.

Your other choices, include networks like Bitter Strawberry, First Mobile Cash, and VPS Mobile.

Really? Wow, your experience is completely opposite from ours. For us, moving to responsive has yielded very positive results. Since we added responsive elements over the last couple of years, we've seen a significant boost in mobile traffic and, more importantly, sales conversions from our mobile traffic. Also, we've experienced almost triple the page views from mobile users and a huge drop in bounce rate from mobile demographics.

Interesting how it can be so different. That said, up until this month, those using IE were also still the largest demographic for us. This month, IE is just now being edged by Chrome users.

With respect to mobile, Mobile Safari is #1, followed fairly closely by Mobile Chrome.

Anyway, thanks for sharing your experience. It's indeed interesting to watch, and certainly something I will continue to pay attention to as we move towards, and into, 2015.

HiddenDoorCash 11-25-2014 09:33 AM

bump for you!

I noticed last night when checking my listings from my phone, that the "Mobile Friendly" tag is now showing up in googles SERPs.

It shows when doing searches from mobile only, I dont see it when searching from my desktop.

fappingJack 12-17-2014 11:08 PM

not all of us has smart phones so mobile friendly sites are indeed helpful.

vegasbobby 12-17-2014 11:30 PM

Well her we go : \

Nottingtonbase 12-18-2014 02:43 AM

I made the experience, that mobile responsive sites are good for your google ranking. I'd recommend that.
