I wonder if affiliates promoting dating sites with fake profiles may also face issues? I very much doubt it as the stuff is not on their server... Even so, I guess there's an opportunity for 'real' dating sites to spring up?yesComment

I haven't promoted penis pills or adult dating sites, as the first one is total bullshit and the latter for most parts (currently).
The risk for legal issues is quite diminishing, but I don't want to promote bullshit. But back to legal issues, the first part is to prove that you did know about the fake profiles, or at least should have known, etc. This thread is a good place to start investigating that. All hands up who knew about that.

Few things I would like to say :
Adult dating sites with no fakes do exist.
Adult Dating Platform users focused with great ROI for Affiliates exist, and provide charge back lower than nobody else would expect in the industry, but also a retention rate much higher.
Adult dating is not total bullshit, some dating sites provide a real community of like minded people, your users will get what they want.
Last but not least : DATING COMPANY AND DATING AFFILIATES CAN BE PROFITABLE WITH NO FAKES AT ALL !!!

I don't want what I said above being misinterpreted.
I can't see affiliates of websites being prosecuted or fined for any wrongdoing by a website operator. Notwithstanding any outright fraudulent actions by affiliates. And as a practical matter, most affiliates are "small fish" to warrant a FTC investigation and hearings. They are looking for the "big fish" that can pay large fines.
They are no more likely to be fined than Yahoo! messenger or Skype is ...Comment
