    DynaMo - NYT Best Seller List Gamed

    From our past discussion of IMDB being gamed, here is a verified report regarding gaming of the NYT best sellers list: How the Religious Right Scams Its Way Onto the NY Times Bestseller List - The Daily Beast

    Gaming IMDB is far easier since it's free accounts rather than paid books used to set ranks and ratings. And if a bunch of hacks running evangelical churches have figured it out, you can bet the heavyweights at SONY and WB and major Publishers are way ahead of them.

          Of course it CAN be gamed, the funny thing that you claim as it WAS gamed solely based on the fact that your personal rating of the movie was lower than average rating and that top review was from the new account.
          That is certainly not enough to claim that it was gamed in this certain instance.
