    That's fucking impressive - The stats that come out of China are getting more amazing by the day - It's almost scary...

    Online retailer Alibaba says it sold $2bn (£1.2bn) of goods in the first hour of China's annual "Singles' Day"...

    ..."I bet the number [of goods bought] is going to be scary," said Alibaba's executive chairman Jack Ma last week. He estimated that 200 million packages would be shipped from orders made during the day.

                          Bought multiple items from there, only 1 phone was a scam.. still trying to get back at least a part of the cash, but the dispute progress is super slow (opened 5-6months ago lol)

                                          I was just reading this earlier ...
                                          Porn is illegal in China and rather restricted (production wise) in India.

                                          But for mainstream digital goods these markets will have appeal. The Chinese and Indian definitions of the " middle class' " spendable incomes will not be the same as western incomes so many hard goods from western countries, made with western wages may be to expensive for export but goods made in Asia, paying local wages, will be marketable.

                                          Digital goods may be the exception ...
