    Usd / cad @ 1.14

    It's nice to see the rates hitting 1.14.

    Those who are webmasters or run businesses in Canada will appreciate the exchange range lately on USD conversion.

    See it going any higher?

      I was looking at exchange rates today. The AUD will fall to 80 USD cents by mid next year, I believe the Euro still has a little to go down and I think the CAD will hit 1.20 by March if not before given the outcome of the US election.

          I am very uneducated with politics and the happenings right now. How will this election affect the 1.20 you think is coming? Serious question and I appreciate your response .

              Firstly elections spook markets, secondly I expect a slight drop in the dollar depending on what moves the Fed makes over the next fiscal quarter. Gold is dropping, which will see investors move to currencies which offer a better return, thus countries with better interest rates than the US will benefit.

                  its good when i'm getting paid, not so good when i'm paying out especially since the credit card companies rape you on the exchange.
                  you don't know you're wearing a leash if you sit by the peg all day..

                              Funny thing was I was 11 years old at the time. I was building "mainstream" fun tamagotchi / furby / silly websites with blind hardlinks to Modchip.com - they paid like 15-30 cents a click back then. I actually brought in my first internet check (cheque) to show and tell at school.

                              I really wanted to start a porn site back then but I was obviously too young. If only I would have - things could have been different! But they aren't and I'm fine with how things are going this year.
