                                                                  Oops, misread, I know around here they pay a lot better than the big supermarkets (Tesco, Asda, Sainsburys). They also have the staff working very hard, efficient (same with Aldi)

                                                                  I go there as often as I can as I know their food is good quality, and we're only getting ripped off at the big supermarkets (paying extra for the shareholders)

                                                                      Yes i heard same,they are paid well but they need to work their asses hard.Plus it is one of rare shopping center with constant customer flow,so there is almost zero "relaxing time" for them lol

                                                                          I have pretty much never seen them relaxing, apart from 5 minutes before close when it's dead I've seen them having a chat together smiling

                                                                              I dont know do you know for commodore/amiga games,but there was a game called "tapper" where you were in role of bartender and you had to throw coffe to each customer going in before they were reaching you otherwise you would lose.Lidl kind a remind me to that game.
                                                                              They also deployed new system where in case of toomany customers waiting,it automatically call other employees to step in.
