Baseball Predictions...

I know it's not the most popular sport anymore so don't bother with the "baseball sucks" comments (unless you can at least be fucking creative about it!), but I love the game and wanna see what other lovers of the game think for this year:

I gotta predict in the NL: Cards. Too much talent and a great manager.

In the AL: (YUCK) Yankees. How can you argue with THAT much pitching?

Who I'd like to see... BoSox vs. Cubs. =]

10 starters don't mean they're great. oakland is stacked, harang and lilly are looking good. at midseason we get beltran in our almost yearly rapage of kc's young talent for our world series ring.

FOund an interesting aside in a baseball mag about how having so many day games hurts the Cubs because it wears the guys out sooner (more heat to play in) and more night followed by day games hurts catchers especially.

Wonder how much it's contributed to their ill fortune?

Two words for you... John Smoltz. All 10 of those guys can't start so where do they go?

Cubs fans must be brainwashed to think at the beginning of every year they are gonna win it.... LOL "Not Gonna Happen" even though my Hometown Angels Won and yay they won, baseball still sucks LOL When are they gonn put the kegs on 1st and 3rd and have girls in thongs serving beer while the players round the bases? or maybe allowing full body checks while running the bases...

I predict Dodgers, Padres, Cubs (might as well they need all the false hope they can get) vs. Yankees, Angels, or Rangers

i expect mulder to win the cy young this year. howe was booted to new york, so we don't have to put up with his stupid decisions. ramon should catch every game for the big 3, so their era's should all drop.

zito and mulder should be under 2.5 and hudson under 3. our pen should be strong and dye is healthy after snapping his shin in 2. tejada, chavez, dye, durazo is gonna be one nasty foursome in the line up. arizona fans are still crying about losing durazo.

this is oakland's year baby!

It's a good argument. I wouldn't mind seeing that either.

Watch out for the Dodgers if they stay healthy, but that is a big if. For long shots I like the Phillies and White Sox.
Of course the Yankees will probably buy the championship this year some how.

I am betting for my Cubbies.

The Cards..they have an awesome lineup, but weak pitching.
Their #2 and #3 starters would be 4 and 5 starters on the Cubs.
Besides Morris..they have a ton of question marks.

The Stroes...they will be tough.

I pick my Cubbies to pull it out.
Baker is doing a good job with bringing in that winning attitude.

TFG for Direct TV...I can watch EVERYONE of my Cub games..lol

Got the sports package here too. =]

I lik the Cubs too with all the pitching but I think they are a year away or maybe two.

Expos... don't laugh. Quite a few of the analysts pick them #2 in the division. I think they need to find a home though with some fan support and stability. And what's with the Red, White & Blue? Canadian team right?

The Phillies cause we did some major deals in the offseason. Plus they (the phillies) want a good season so the the people of this city won't feel as bad paying for their new statium as well as the new football statium that we have going up. So in essence they have to have a good season. You know how philly fans can be. remember santa and destiny's child.
