Interesting how neither Republican Senator Joe McCarthy nor his supporters to this day EVER held hearings into this. They were too busy going after Liberal AMERICANS - falsely accusing them of being "communists" - ESPECIALLY if they supported Civil Rights.

The USA has 2 problems.

1) It's foreign policy. Which can be summed up as "the enemy of my enemy is my friend." This works as long as th enemy of your enemy isn't a douche bag.

2) A person can be the biggest murderous lying piece of shit in the world. But if they're wealthy enough they'll be called wonderful human beings and have millions of people prepared to kiss their ass.

He was a banker and politician(US Senator). He did extensive business with Nazi Germany while it was prohibited before and during WW2. The Bank was eventually seized by the Gov't. He was never prosecuted for it, but his some of his partners were. He was represented by a lawyer named Allen Dulles who became CIA director.

The questionable activities of the Gov't, Politicians (Both Current and Future) and the Wealthy, Well to Do Americans did not start after WW2 with Nazi Germany.

The Henry Ford/Hitler connection is also an interesting read. Who would have thought one of Hitlers heroes was Ford. Hitler even had a framed portrait of Ford hanging behind his desk in Munich.


And don't forget the famous Germany efficiency is partly due to IBM's involvement from asset confiscation to keeping track of concentration camp inmates.

It's the CIA, you can't be an effective intelligence agency of a global superpower and be nice guys and deal only with nice guys, they most likely played some part in John F. Both the US and Soviet Union near the end of the European part of WWII as Berlin fell were in a race against each other to get hold of the best scientists the Germans had out of fear the other side would get them. It was called Operation Paperclip, they knew most of them were Nazis, you couldn't be a top anything in Nazi Germany and avoid some affiliation with the Nazis whether that included membership in the Nazi party or not, you'd have been risking your life and that of your family to distance yourself in any way from the Nazi leadership. For appearance's sake Truman had to put in the condition that the US wouldn't deal with Nazis, so they went to work white washing the records of many of the recruits.

The US space program was dominated by German rocket scientists recruited in Operation Paperclip, the most famous being Werner von Braun. They also grabbed physicists involved in nuclear research, during WWII as we put together the nuclear bomb we had no idea how far along the Germans were with nuclear weapons and even less idea about the Soviets, Hitler bragged about about some super secret weapon the Germans were working on and the US feared it was nuclear - it wasn't.

The Soviets were not far behind in the development of nuclear bombs. Einstein always regretted any part he had in the development of nuclear weapons but he was a pretty naive and confused genius, the war with the Germans would have ended and had the Soviets beat the West to the bomb god knows what Stalin would have done with that advantage. Einstein did some preliminary work when asked by the Manhattan Project in its beginning, later on they wanted to use him some more but the US government wouldn't clear him, he had a reputation as a 'pacifist', which in those days to the government meant a communist sympathizer.
