Special thanks to the 124 truckers who participated in today's "World's Largest Truck Convoy" along I-95 to help raise money for Virginia's Special Olympics. VSP was proud to be a part of this impressive show of support! The truck convoy is a unique one-day celebration in which law enforcement escort a convoy of trucks through cities and towns in 38 states and Canada. The event helps raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics athletes.

Seems like a waste of resources to raise very little money.
$20k raised....fuel cost...about 3k....cost of troopers to block the roads? Cost to other people who had to go around? Seems like the truck maker could have cut a check for this and had a tax donation instead. Stupid ideas from stupid people |
