    Insane Clown Posse Lawsuit Wins Appeal in Suit Against FBI for 'Gang' Designation




    A federal appeals court has ruled in favor of the Insane Clown Posse in their bid to get the FBI to remove the Detroit hip-hop duo's followers ? known as "Juggalos" ? from a gang list.

          Awesome news! I actually like ICP. Seen them in concert twice back in the late 90's and early 00's.

          Really glad they won the appeal!

          edit after reading it I see they just won the right to go to court that the judge threw out
          The lawsuit, filed in January 2014 with the American Civil Liberties Union of Michigan, was later tossed out by a district court in Michigan after it found the plaintiffs had failed to show they suffered any injuries.

          But the federal appeals court on Thursday reversed that district court's decision and ordered that the case be considered....


          .....A court date for the lawsuit against the FBI and the Department of Justice has yet to be set. Meanwhile, an FBI spokesman declined to comment on ongoing litigation. A spokeswoman for the Justice Department said it was reviewing the opinion but would have no further comment.

                                              You do have a small point about their following. But their following and success is quite unique. If you look at the positive side of their success you might realize there is a good story behind their growth and perseverance.

                                              I'm not the biggest fan or anything and I would never paint myself up. But I can look at their story and see what they had to overcome and gained.
