I used to get crazy ass tickets all the time. I would never get a ticket for doing 75 in a 65 - Always over 100 MPH.
I no longer drive a sports car and instead drive a Jeep Cherokee. I got a ticket doing 75 in a 65 earlier this year on a road trip and I just had to laugh - it was my first speeding ticket doing less than 100 mph ever.
You seem to be okay being as you wrecked your car. At least you have your sense of humor.Herschel Savage

I almost killed some poor dude in an economy car. I feel horrible. But not a scratch on his car or mine and no property damage. I drove off the road and somehow managed to not hit anything. I would have rear ended him going about 45 mph. The road was wet.Comment

I havent had a speeding ticket since May 2002 and I've owned several sports cars and fast bikes since then. I've never owned a radar detector.
The secret is pay attention to the speed limit, be aware of what your doing, and exercise some self control or at least the cruise control.

What's the point of owning a sports car if you don't speed? Might as well just get a four door at that point.I havent had a speeding ticket since May 2002 and I've owned several sports cars and fast bikes since then. I've never owned a radar detector.
