I got a shitty windows messenger service spam, what can I do?

while I was browsing the ICQ folder I got this shit:

(my IP was writen where the xxxx are now)

I know it's broadcasted thru a Windows Messenger Service hole...
I know how to stop these shitty spams but I'm wondering if there is an antispam organization where I can send a screenshot because THE MESSAGE PISSES ME OFF !!!!
I think my GF would have a heart attack if she'll ever receive a shit like this...

what do you suggest?

ummmmm, you could delete it and go on with your life??

I see people on the boards whining about spam all the time, about how much time it takes them to clear out their email because of the spam.
But you spend way more time complaining about spam than you do deleting it, so it seems your time isn't quite so valuable anyways

I've got that shit too... the worst is when one of those things pop up and says "Are you tired of these? Fight back and get rid of these with http://www.fightmessenger.com"

They put it in my computer and now they're trying to sell me to take it off... fucking pussies

um, i already addressed this, but i shall again.

for xp, go into the Services (usually through administrator tools). Look for "Messenger" and disable.. and you never have to worry about it again. it's a built-in windows feature that does those.

simple fix, no reason to get pissed

this is not a regular spam , it's not an e-mail.. I don't give a shit about it, all I'm thinking is what would happen if if my gf got it instead of me... I can waste 10 minutes if I can stop these assholes...

the best you can do is whois their domain and see who their registrar and server is, and file complaints with them

Choose "Disabled" in the startup type drop down box.

I forgot to do that and it was on "automatic"...every time I rebooted my computer the service would restart.

Unless your network uses messanger for auto-alerts it should be off. Numerous security holes have been linked to the messanger service.
