Payza will start offering Guarenteed Payments

Hi all, Payza is in the process of setting up a new type of account tailored to merchants that typically face a high frequency of reversals and "friendly fraud". Payments sent to these accounts will be guaranteed, will not be reversible, and will not qualify for disputes or for protection under Payza Resolution center (however, substantial complaints will still have consequences).

These accounts will be open to qualified businesses in all industries. For more information and to apply, contact [email protected]

Sounds like a company looking for a fast dollar and a bunch of customers.

Either that, or this is Zombaio's shell company

Payza, and AlertPay before it, has been around collectively for 10 years. It hasn't all been smooth sailing, just like any business that's been around that long, but we're not going anywhere soon.

That bullshit alertpay pulled the same crap that paypal did. First accepted adult webmasters, then suddenly dropped them and without sending out anything in writing, froze their money due to "violation of terms".

I was not here when AlertPay made the decision to stop supporting high risk businesses, but from what I have been told notices were indeed sent when this policy change occurred. If any funds were held, they were held for the normal period to ensure that any potential reversals could be covered. Once that hold period expired, all funds were released.

I do not doubt that anyone that continued to use AlertPay for processing after their industry was no longer supported may have faced consequences, but I was told that our team was very fair in providing leeway for merchants that may have missed the notice and that no merchants faced additional fines.

                                Absolutely wrong.
No notices were ever sent. When the account was frozen, I was told that they had indicated the change on their website in notices section or whatever. Not the way to run business.
I never stayed with them and simply refunded all the clients.

So after further digging, I've been able to track down the emails sent by AlertPay in August 2011 when High Risk Credit Card Processing was removed. There were a few different versions based on industry but merchants in the "Mature Audiences" business category would have received this message:

                                    Hello XXXXX XXXXX,

I am contacting you on behalf of AlertPay.

We would like to start by thanking you for using AlertPay as your payment processor of choice. This notice is to inform you that due to changes with our banking and credit card partners, we will no longer be able to provide credit card payment processing services for your AlertPay account. Please know that this change is not specific to your account but is a change that pertains to your industry as a whole. Unfortunately, for reasons beyond our control this change must be implemented immediately. Please note that your account will remain active and there are no limitations pertaining to access of your account. We are currently working to resolve this issue and we will notify you as soon as credit card payment options are available again. If you have any questions or concerns you may contact [email protected].

If you currently are not processing credit card payments, please ignore this notice.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

                                        Payza Customer Support
We're aware of the issue and have been working with our provider to find a solution, but at this point the problem still exists. While we are working to get the issues solved, we are also looking for alternative solutions and the possibility of launching a new Prepaid Card Program. We had hoped to have more information and updates for our affected members by now but there have been no significant new developments as of yet.

In the meantime, we have enabled Credit Card Withdrawals for our members, so you can now use a Visa Credit or Visa Debit Card to easily withdraw your Payza balance.

What do you mean exactly? I thought you said you have a technical problem with your card provider? So how can you withdrawal to a Visa Debit Card? You credit the visa debit card or what?

If I am in the USA, what are my options to withdrawal my funds quickly and easily and reliably?

If you can explain these things and people understand better Payza, then you can do a lot of good business here.

The issue you brought up in your first question was related to the Payza Prepaid Card, a card that we issued to make it easy for our members to quickly withdraw their funds so that they could spend their money anywhere that credit cards are accepted.

While the Payza Prepaid Card is not being issued at this time, we are now offering a way to let our members withdraw their funds directly to their own Visa Credit and Visa Debit Cards.

So you can use your own Visa card to withdraw your money from Payza. This blog post has a more detailed explanation as well as the instructions on how to set up a Credit Card Withdrawal: https://blog.payza.com/payza-updates...op-up-feature/

Bullshit.. You have been paying a lot of webmasters that use "upload your pictures and we pay you" websites.. Imgchili.com is one of them. They get more DMCA notices then any other kind of website in the world, but they can still use Payza.. You don't care about our industry. You only care about money. That makes you a bad company in this industry and in my book.

As I said, I don't personally deal with approving or shutting down these accounts. I have however forwarded that site to our Merchant Risk department for further investigation. You can also report these sites directly by emailing [email protected].

Just wanted to post an update, we have found no evidence that Imgchili uses Payza for processing or cashouts, and no evidence that they are currently advertising these services from Payza on their website.

But thanks, MediaMix, for publicly calling us out
