Read "American Desperado" recently. Jon Roberts talks about meeting Lansky on the beach and getting the green light to kill Lansky's step son. Enrique Prado pulled the trigger. Enrique Prado went on to be a high ranking CIA official. Even working on finding Osama Bin Laden.

What happened with Chalky White? When did he realize he was going to die?
I mean why didn't he take that "doctor" hostage or something in the first place. I am mad, Chalky was cool.

I love this series. It's understandable that they are killing characters as it is ending. The prevailing theory on the fan sites is that the teenage kid that is Mickey Doyle's new assistant who helped Nucky up in the alleyway after those two bar girls knocked him over the head and presumably robbed his wallet is Jimmy Darmody's now fifteen year old son. And that the kid will end up killing Nucky in the final episode as payback for his original sin of pimping out his thirteen year old grandmother Gillian to the Commodore in 1897 to get ahead as well as murdering his father Jimmy back in the 1920s. That's why they keep going back to those flashbacks when Nucky was young.

season 1 chalky was smart. after season 2 bam! they made him slow acting.

Anybody spit the theory of that kid befriending Nucky and/or using him to get in power etc?

Ps: is the show related to real characters? In which case they may know that prevailing theory from real events.

Well, the Nucky Thompson character is based very closely on the real life Nucky Johnson who lived until 85 years old in 1968. But they did take quite a few liberties with the character so it's not unthinkable that they would kill him in the series. I think the fan theory I posted above makes the most sense based on all these flashbacks they are showing as well as the focus they have on this young character who happens to be the same age as Jimmy Darmody's son would be in 1931.

He knew he would die the minute he went there, and he was ready to. He was just hoping Narsis would be good to his word and let the girl go.
